The British sportscar manufacturer has released a custom diamond-set Europa and was unveiled yesterday, September 14th in Hethel, Norfolk to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Lotus automobiles.

The said anniversary edition car has been kept tightly under wraps and is valued at £150,000. £111,000 of the Europa’s value comes from the sparkling diamonds that adorn the car, courtesy of Winsor Bishop. The diamonds are a prominent design feature of the black matte metal gear knob, tachometer and speedometer. Hidden LED accent lighting will ensure the diamonds are noticed at every turn. The exterior of the car features a high-gloss black base mixed with tiny glass flakes.

“We were delighted to work with Lotus on this exciting project and are thrilled with the sparkling results,” remarked Sophie Croydon, Director of Winsor Bishop. “Diamond setting a car was a first for Winsor Bishop, by specifying 164 beautiful Round Brilliant Diamonds with a market value of £111,100, we have helped create a truly unique Lotus Europa.”
